Top 5 Online Stores For Curvy Girls

Top 5 Online Stores For Curvy Girls

I wasn’t the most popular kid in school. I was always labeled quiet, private, mean, stuck up, standoffish, and goofy. I could accept some of those labels, but I was definitely not stuck up. People just didn’t know me.

Anyway, one of the things people did label me as is one of the best dressed. I’ve always tried to keep myself up and stay current with the latest fashion that I like. I’ve put on a lot of weight since school. I’m now labeled as plus size according to the US sizing charts. I like to keep away from labels, but if we are labeling I prefer thick and curvy.

Still to this day, I get asked all the time where I shop and thought I’d grace you with the latest and greatest spots that are affordable:

ASOS

ASOS is a brand that offer in-house brands and popular brands like Adidas and Ivy Park! I love this company because you can get some hot statement pieces from here all year around. You can also get some trendy name brand items on sale. What I love about them best are two things:

  1. They have a student discount (shout out to all of the college students out there!)

  2. They have petite, tall, and maternity options for our different body shapes and styles

Here are some of my favorite staple pieces as well as eye-catching pieces:

Elsa Sock Boot with Gold Trim in the back!

IVY PARK as seen in by Queen B! Love this brand!

Quality: 10 out of 10

Price: Affordable to pricey

Variety: Usually 1 to 3 colors

Shipping: Ships standard

BooHooUS

I love this brand! I have yet to be disappointed with the quality of clothes as far as stretch, texture, comfort, price and fitting. Everything I’ve purchased has hugged my curves and compliments my body very well. This brand is a brand in itself, meaning it has its own labels and designs. I highly recommend shopping here for the low. They have sizes 2 to 22 and they cater to petite, tall, and soon-to-be mothers. Best thing, they have 60% off sales a lot!

Snapshot Review:

Quality: 10 out of 10

Price: Unbelievably Affordable

Variety: Usually 2 to 5 colors

Shipping: Shipping seems to take a little while longer than I’d like for standard shipping (6 business days), but it’s not too bad.

PrettyLittleThing

I usually end up buying from PrettyLittleThing more often than I think I would. I love their designs and the shipping is ah-mazing! Now, as far as the quality in terms of the stretch and fit. It’s been a hit or miss for me. I wear a 14/16 or XL. I’ve purchased size 16 from here and fitting has been a hit or miss. More so a hit, but other than that it’s either been too short, loose or tight. I don’t say that to put you off or discourage you from purchasing. I like real reviews, so I’m giving you the good and the bad for this brand.

There’s usually a 30 - 40% off sale happening! Latest sale code —> (last updated 01/2019: DOLL35 for35% off )

Quality: 7 out of 10

Price: Unbelievably Affordable

Here are some of my favorite staple pieces as well as eye-catching pieces:

Fashionnova Curve

Fashionnova grew on me. First impression was that their clothes looked cheap and everyone and their mama bought from them so that meant everyone would look alike. Well, I was wrong. Most of their clothes have been satisfyingly of good quality. I’ve learned to shop with them and buy what I need for my personal style blog, What Nat Wore. I have ordered a couple of times and my package slip was correct but the size mailed was wrong. Wasn’t a big deal though. I’ve given away clothes to my daughter and sister since they are smaller when this happens.

Anyway, their shipping is the fastest ever! So, if you need something right away, this is your go to outside of PrettyLittleThing.

I don’t have a code for this brand. However, I have an offer for first time customers when you click the link to get 30% your first purchase:

Another thing you should know, they send a TON of codes to your inbox so please purchase using the link above and wait on the promo codes to start rolling in!

Shein

Shein is a Chinese company so you have to be careful with choosing sizes because they are much smaller than US sizes. I recommend purchasing items that have reviews and items like coats, outerwear, and items that have a good range of sizes. What I do like about this company is their pricing and variety of designs that they have.

I highly suggest that you measure yourself around your arms, breast, thighs, and waist. The clothes on this website will have measurements for you to compare to yours. Shop carefully! If you are unsure, do not purchase it. To keep it simple and safe, purchase items that have a lot of stretch and that are over-sized/adjustable.

Snapshot Review:

Quality: 5 out of 10 (only because of the sizing risks)

Price: Extremely Affordable

Variety: Usually 1 to 3 colors

Shipping: Ships standard. Please make sure to pay attention to the Chinese New Year. I believe they take the entire month off or business slows down. Do your research!

BONUS: Hips and Curves

Now, I have not shopped here yet but I can’t wait to shop for some cute “unmentionables”. Every curvy woman needs some really great bras and undergarments to hold on the loveliness in place. One thing I hate to see is lumpy, loose body shapes in certain types of clothes. It’s very unbecoming. That is why it is imperative  to invest in shapewear in black and nude. Shapewear literally makes or breaks your outfit!

These are hot:

Solange Lace Chemise 46 Medium Cup In Black By Hips & Curves
Mila Strappy Black and Mocha Shelf Bra - 38 DD to DDD By Hips & Curves

Well while I am at it, why don’t I add some shoes to complete your outfits too! Cool?

I love Ego Shoes and since I am a partner, they me codes before the public! If you check back often, you will be ready for their promotions. Check out their unique shoes here: EGO SHOES

I hope you’ve enjoyed this post. Please check this page often for update codes!
